There are definite scientific laws which contradict it; one of them being the fixity of species. Charles Darwin in his book, My Life and Letters, Volume One, page 210, wrote, "Not one change of species into another is on record. We cannot prove that a single species has been changed" (into another). You are what you are because you received 23 chromosomes from your mother and 23 from your father. It is an impossibility for one species to interbreed with another. In other words, it would be an impossibility for a cat and a dog to produce an offspring. This makes the story of Adam and Eve not only believable, but in accordance with scientific laws. Another law which renders the theory of evolution scientifically impossible is the Second Law of Thermodynamics which states that there is a tendency from the highly organized downwards toward the less organized. Never is there an increase of order without an outside force. Could the elements of this earth produce even the most simple tool by themselves? The universe is like a clock that was wound up and is slowly running down.
