What I mean by that is that perhaps the God you have rejected doesn't exist.

Dick came from an ultra religious family. It was drummed into his head that only those who lived what he considered to be an unattainable lifestyle would enter heaven. So by 19, he was an atheist.

But according to the Bible, going to Heaven is a gift because God already paid the way. Jesus said, "He who believes in Me has everlasting life" (John 6:47). When Jesus died on the cross, He did everything that had to be done to get us to heaven. That leaves us nothing to do.
